Workplace Assessments and Job Task Analyses
A Workplace Assessment or job task analysis involves the evaluation or the physical or psychological requirements of an employee’s job requirements, also taking into account relevant psychosocial demands and is conducted by our experienced, university qualified Rehabilitation Consultants.
A Workplace Assessment or job task analysis identifies suitable duties that can be incorporated safely into an initial Recover at Work Plan to assist a worker return to work following a workplace injury. These assessments can also be performed should a worker’s recovery stall, to identify barriers to progress and to provide solutions to assist with the worker’s progress and to provide information to treating parties about available suitable or ‘light’ duties.
Workplace Assessments are an important component in effective injury management and the identification of appropriate suitable duties to allow an injured worker to safely return to work in a timely manner, promoting a successfully return to work outcome.
